A Romantic Wedding at Château de Fey | Jordan & Arthur's Destination Wedding in France
There are weddings you remember because they're beautiful.
And then there are weddings you remember because of how they made you feel.
Jordan and Arthur's wedding at Château de Fey is one of those for me.
From the very beginning, I felt an incredible connection with Jordan. As a photographer herself, she understood something that isn't always easy to explain: sometimes the most beautiful photographs happen when you simply trust the process.
She gave me the freedom to explore, to choose the light, to move naturally through the day and photograph their story as it unfolded. It never felt like I was directing their wedding. It felt like I had been invited to witness it.
Why Château de Fey is one of my favorite wedding venues in France ?
If you're dreaming of a destination wedding in France, Château de Fey has a very different kind of charm.
Its soft pink façade immediately caught my attention. It doesn't feel like the dramatic castles you often imagine in France. Instead, it has something softer, warmer and incredibly romantic. Almost as if it belonged inside a storybook.
Inside, every room has its own personality. Beautiful paintings, elegant salons filled with natural light and thoughtful details make every corner feel worth discovering.
One of my favorite parts is that many guests can stay on the property in beautifully designed tipis, turning the wedding into an entire weekend together rather than just a single day.
A ceremony surrounded by nature
Jordan and Arthur chose to exchange their vows beneath the trees, beside the château.
It felt wonderfully personal.
No grand decorations were needed. The trees, the soft light and the people they loved created everything the ceremony needed.
It reminded me of those romantic films where nature quietly becomes part of the story.
The best of both worlds
When we first spoke, Jordan told me something I loved.
She wanted photographs that felt spontaneous and emotional, but she also dreamed of a few editorial portraits that would still feel timeless years from now.
That balance became our goal throughout the day.
Instead of separating "real moments" from "beautiful portraits," we let both exist together.
Some images happened naturally between laughs and conversations.
Others were created with intention, using the château, the architecture and the evening light as part of the story.
A celebration filled with stories
One of the things I remember most isn't actually a photograph.
It was listening.
Guests had travelled from different parts of the world to celebrate them, and during dinner every speech felt like another chapter of their story.
There was so much laughter, so many memories and so much love in that room that it became impossible not to smile behind the camera.
The surprise nobody expected
If I had to choose one moment that completely surprised me, it would be the party.
Arthur is part of a band in the south of France. At one point, they began playing live. Not just a song. A real concert.
Within minutes everyone was singing, dancing and completely immersed in the music. It honestly became one of my favorite moments I've experienced while photographing weddings.
I found myself smiling behind the camera, almost forgetting I was working.
Sometimes the best photographs happen because the people in front of you completely forget the camera exists.
And that's exactly what happened.
Looking back
Jordan and Arthur's wedding reminded me why I love destination weddings so much.
They're never only about the place.
They're about bringing together people from different corners of the world to celebrate one story.
And when that story is told with complete trust, beautiful surroundings and genuine emotion, the photographs almost create themselves.
