Is it possible to get married in Paris? And in one of the most beautiful and important churches in the world?

The answer is yes, and Steven and Italia made this dream come true with an intimate ceremony at La Madeleine Church, an iconic landmark in the heart of the city.

Located in Place de la Madeleine, this neoclassical church is known for its grand Corinthian columns, inspired by ancient Greek temples. Construction began in 1764, and after several changes in its original purpose, it was consecrated as a church in 1842. Today, it is one of the most prestigious religious sites in Paris, renowned for its historical significance, sacred music concerts, and major international religious events.

Steven and Italia chose this stunning venue for their wedding, attended by only ten guests, including their closest family members. The ceremony lasted one hour and was conducted in English by an American priest who has been performing English-language services at La Madeleine for years, ensuring a comfortable and meaningful experience for the couple and their guests.

After the ceremony, we explored different locations around Paris for a stunning wedding photoshoot. The couple wanted to capture the essence of the city, so we selected iconic spots as well as some hidden gems to make the experience unique. For Italia, Paris holds a special place in her heart as her favorite city in the world, making the occasion even more meaningful.

Intimate weddings in Paris are becoming increasingly popular for couples seeking a private and exclusive experience without the complexity of large-scale events. The city offers breathtaking venues, from historic churches to elegant settings for post-ceremony photoshoots.
