I love this place because it’s almost always calm, no matter what time you go. There aren’t many cars, it’s very quiet, and that makes street photography super easy.

There are corners here that I’m a huge fan of—I’ll show you some photos as we go.

You’ll also find very local cafés and small shops, nothing touristy, and you can take beautiful photos at cafés right next to the river.

And one of my favorite details: sometimes there are swans, which add such a soft, romantic touch to the images. Those little moments really make the photos feel special.

Another one of my favorite spots is the Luxembourg Garden.

Yes, it’s a touristy place, but you don’t need to be there at sunrise. I actually think the second or third hour of the day is perfect, especially when the light hits the fountain—it’s beautiful.

It’s the kind of place where you can bring a book, sit on the chairs, read for a bit… and for photos, it works incredibly well. No matter the season—winter or summer—it always looks stunning.

In the background, you have the Palais du Luxembourg, which adds such an elegant architectural feel to the images.

What I also love is that around the garden there are streets with very little traffic, which makes street-style photos really easy to create. There aren’t as many tourists walking around compared to other areas, so the space feels more open, relaxed, and easy to work in.

Another favorite spot of mine is the Seine River.

When couples ask for photos near the Louvre, I often suggest this spot .

The morning light here is beautiful , it creates amazing contrasts with the river, and you get this long view of Paris following the Seine. There’s also a bit more nature, more air, more space.

It’s perfect for photos that feel alive and in motion, without forcing anything, and without being surrounded by crowds.
